About FNEI

Five Nations Energy Inc. (FNEI) is a federally incorporated non-profit corporation, owned equally by:

  • Attawapiskat Power Corporation
  • Fort Albany Power Corporation
  • Kashechewan Power Corporation

FNEI is governed by a Board of Directors. The officers of the corporation are:

  • Dwight Sutherland, President
  • Ed Chilton, Secretary Treasurer

The structure of FNEI, the only First Nations owned electricity transmission company in Canada, can be found here. It is unique and progressive.
